POEM:
Dove's Sweet Breath

Dove’s Sweet Breath

Transience basks in golden glow
For we art sweet wine,
Forbidden to savor.
Locked behind seas of glass
Like jewels of the crown,
Never to touch,
And only to behold
In dreams forgotten.

But precious are those
Unbridled thoughts
Which bind the hearts
Of men to angels,
Caressing men’s brow
With passion,
And kissing their eyes
With life.

Silent and pure
They deliver our desires
On dove’s sweet breath,
And float like feathers
From the wings
Of the righteous.
