Greg Johnson left me in co-charge of The Blue Door while he was at the Folk Alliance in Nashville. When Lucy arrived, she was amazed by the turnout, and I quipped: “That’s because I told everyone who called you’re going to sing in the nude.” She had a great sense of humor. “Do whatever you have to do to get them in the door.” If you haven’t heard Lucy’s music, I think she’s one of the best musicians overlooked by the mainstream music industry.
